I woke up today to a message from friend Sid: “Hot Doug’s? I’m buying.” How can you say no to that? I didn’t take any photos, but we split a few sausages:
- White Wine Rabbit Sausage with Sauce Moutarde, Goat Cheese and Spicy Calabrese Peppers
- Saucisse de Toulouse with Anchovy Goat’s Milk Butter and Montsegur Peppercorn Cheese
- Uber Garlic Pork Sausage with Chipotle Dijonnaise, Vintage Cheddar Cheese and Roasted Garlic Cloves
The rabbit was probably my favorite – complex and with a nice spiciness, but I would eat any (all?) of these again. And we had an order of tater tots which aren’t on the menu but you can order them. You’re welcome. I promise photos next time.
