Bacon, goat cheese, red onion, tomato, and lettuce from the Andersonville Farmer’s Market.  Good work, farmers!

    That is gorgeous, and now I want nothing more than to eat it. Which is odd, because I tend to hate tomatoes.

    Was it as delicious as it looked?

      Tomatoes at this time of year are not like tomatoes in general. It was as delicious as it looked – what you can’t see is that I’d already taken a bite out of the sandwich when I took the photo.

    Mmmm… that’s a gorgeous sandwich. How have I never thought of goat cheese on a BLT before this?

      I got the idea from my friend B. when she took me to Floriole in Chicago – their BLT has goat cheese and some kind of fig jam. It’s perfection.
